This gallery showcases key modules of the system — including installation requests, complaint reporting, token purchases, and administrative management tools.

01The Problem
Many water utilities still rely on manual meter readings and fragmented administrative systems. These processes often lead to billing disputes, slow service handling, and limited operational visibility.
As part of the KEDAIREKA innovation program, this project aimed to support the digital transformation of water utility operations by developing a centralized system for managing prepaid smart water meter infrastructure.
- Manual monitoring of water meters and administrative workflows
- Limited real-time visibility into customer usage and device status
- Inefficient handling of installation requests and customer complaints
- Lack of integrated systems for managing prepaid water token services
02The Approach
I developed a multi-role web dashboard platform that integrates administrative workflows with prepaid smart water meter operations.
The system enables water utility operators to manage devices, customers, and transactions while also providing customers with digital access to essential services such as installation requests, complaint reporting, and prepaid token purchases.
- Multi-role dashboard architecture for operators and customers
- Centralized management of devices, users, and transactions
- Integrated workflows for installation requests and complaint management
- Secure role-based access control across operational roles
03The Impact
The platform provides a centralized operational system for managing prepaid smart water meter infrastructure within water utility environments.
By integrating operational workflows and customer services into a single platform, the system improves efficiency, transparency, and service accessibility.
- Centralized monitoring of customers, devices, and transactions
- Improved coordination between administrators, field staff, and customers
- Digital access for customers to request installations and report issues
- Streamlined prepaid token purchasing and transaction tracking
Workflow System

Complaint Reporting System
Customers can report service issues through the system, allowing administrators and field staff to track and resolve problems efficiently.
Prepaid Token Purchase
Customers can purchase prepaid water tokens through the platform, while cashiers can assist with token transactions.
Multi-Role Dashboard Access
Separate dashboards for Admin, SuperAdmin, Field Staff, Cashier, and Customer roles.
Device Management
Administrators can register, configure, and monitor smart water meter devices connected to the system.
Progressive Water Pricing
Administrators can configure progressive water pricing rules where tariffs increase based on consumption tiers.
Transaction Monitoring
Administrative users can monitor token transactions and generate operational reports.
Technologies Used
Project Context
This system was developed as part of the KEDAIREKA Program, a national innovation initiative in Indonesia that promotes collaboration between universities and industry partners to accelerate applied research and technology development.
Through this program, academic teams collaborate with real industry stakeholders to develop practical technological solutions.
In this project, the system was designed to support operational workflows for PDAM (Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum), Indonesia's regional public water utility provider.
Being selected to contribute to this initiative allowed participation in the development of a real-world digital infrastructure project during academic studies.
